Home School Programs
Overview
All programs meet and/or exceeds the State of Ohio’s educational content standards in science, math, or social studies and are geared to the age level of your children. We also fulfill the Physical Education content required by the home school curriculum. Programs are offered at three YMCA branches. Camp Y-Noah
Mountain Biking, Horseback Riding, Digital Photography, Guitar Lessons, Archery and Canoeing just to name a few. We also offer a variety of hands-on, science based classes that are fun, exciting and follow State guidelines for Education.

Green YMCA
Offering a variety of classes for children ranging in age from 3-18 in several unique classes including Seasons and Senses, Recyclable Art, Zoo Pals, Hand on Science and many more! We also offer swim lessons and physical education courses to help meet the need of the PE curriculum requirement.

Nordonia Hills YMCA
Students 6-13 years of age may be engaged in several unique classes including backcountry cooking, nature art, low ropes challenge course, watershed studies, archery, bird studies, outdoor living skills and more. Nordonia Hills can accommodate field trips for home school groups and co-ops that are interested in a group outing.
