We would like to acknowledge and thank all those in the military and their families. The commitment and sacrifice you make for our country is why we are proud to serve you!

The Akron Area YMCA, partnered with the U.S. Department of Defense to offer free military outreach memberships to eligible military families. 

Eligible Military Personnel:
  • Families of joint deployed Army National Guard and Reservists of all military branches
  • Families living in established Joint Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC)
  • Active Duty Independent Duty and their families as approved by their Military Service POC
  • Relocated spouses of deployed Active Duty Personnel.
